SLC Tea Party
Today I decided to take an extended lunch and run up to the Salt Lake City tea party. If you’re not familiar with the events happening around the nation today, you can learn a little more here. I’ve never been to a rally of any kind, so today I joined partly out of curiosity, and party to show my representatives in Washington I’m concerned about the growing debt and government control.
Unfortunately, the organizer of the event, Adam Gardiner, decided to invite several elected officials to speak. This to me made the rally political. In my mind, it had nothing to do with Republicans or Democrats specifically, but rather all of them collectively. Hopefully people that feel the way I do will be able to find a way to affect change within the system.
The snowy weather kept me from taking as many pictures as I wanted, but here are a few shots from the rally.
