As tradition dictates, we celebrated my mother’s birthday tonight with a fire in the back yard to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. The s’mores were extra delicious as I’ve not had any real sweets since the beginning of the year. Here’s a video with images from tonight’s party.
I’ve seen a ton of first dance videos where the waltz music stops in a screech and the couple busts into a choreographed hip-hop routine, but this is a first (that I’ve seen) in the actual ceremony. It’s fun to watch, so I’m posting it, but a little to raucous for my taste in what should be a solemn ceremony in a church. But hey, religion has changed over the years hasn’t it.
I watch Shay Carl on Youtube pretty religiously. If you have some time, go back and watch all the Shaytards episodes from the beginning. It’s a waste of time, but it’s better than anything on TV right now. Plus, when you finish watching, I guarantee you’ll be smiling.
Saw this video today and it made me smile. It’s funny how a group of strangers can make someone’s day. Now I’m starting to think about what I can do to make someone happy. Enjoy.
This is a quick video I put together this morning so I could start playing with how SmugMug.com handles video. I haven’t found SmugMug to be particularly easy to use. Anyone out there using SmugMug for video or photos, I’d love to hear your opinion of the service.
I think I need to sign up for this program so I can get the signs for my office. The video pokes fun at logic that people around the country seriously buy into. You may as well put up a sign that says “Hey come get me, I’m unarmed.”
